Please sign the below signature form to support the petition filed by Shri Mahalingam Balaji to the Madras High Court. The petition challenges the conflation of the Dharmic Swastika symbol with Hitler’s hooked cross (Hakenkreuz) in NCERT’s Class IX History textbook: India and the Contemporary World – I (First Edition: March 2006; Reprinted: December 2024). It argues that Hitler never called his symbol Swastika and that great harm is caused to Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain communities, and that the false narrative, exported through internationally distributed English-language discourse, has concrete and measurable adverse consequences for members of these communities and well as Indians worldwide.
