Attacks on Hindu Temples in the United States

There is a rising spate of hate and violence against Hindus in the US, borne out most visibly in the online space which has been flooded with anti Hindu memes, graphics and tropes that caricaturize and dehumanize the faith and its adherents. But the hate has also migrated into the real world where it has led to attacks on individuals and, more prominently, into regular and repeated attacks on Hindu temples across the country. Data from the FBI and the California Hate Crimes Hotline validates this troubling trend.
