CoHNA condemns the horrific act of domestic terrorism that occurred at the Massage Parlors in Atlanta. We stand in solidarity with our fellow Asian Americans and extend our support to those in need.
In these trying times, we are reminded of, and draw comfort from the wisdom of the Gita.
Bhagavad Gita (2.23): nainaṁ chhindanti śhastrāṇi nainaṁ dahati pāvakaḥ na chainaṁ kledayantyāpo na śhoṣhayati mārutaḥ Weapons cannot cut the atma, nor can fire burn it. Water cannot wet it, nor can wind dry it.
Bhagavad Gita (2.24): achchhedyo ’yam adāhyo ’yam akledyo ’śhoṣhya eva cha nityaḥ sarva-gataḥ sthāṇur achalo ’yaṁ sanātanaḥ The atma is unbreakable & incombustible; it can neither be dampened nor dried. It is everlasting in all places, unalterable & immutable.
