Caste is being used as a major weapon to shame Hindus in North America. School textbooks shame Hindu kids by teaching “caste” as an essential part of Hinduism, thus creating a negative and backward portrayal of the religion in comparison to other major religions. Recently, the state of California tried to pass a law on caste based on falsified evidence and data from anti-Hindu groups. Seattle has already passed a law on caste based on the same false data. Other states and cities could be next. And, many American companies are adopting “caste training” as part of their DEI initiatives.

How can the community push back against such attempts? What is the Hindu/indigenous view about “caste”? Rajiv Malhotra ji’s book “Varna Jati Caste” is a crisp and easy primer that presents a powerful counter to Western Universalism’s harsh attacks on caste. It is a long over-due toolkit to help all open-minded people gain an understanding of the subtleties of Hinduism’s complex social order. This social structure has, after all, produced a civilization with unparalleled diversity. The Vedic worldview along with the historical journey of Varna and Jati demolishes the prevailing myths about caste.

Join us on Saturday, January 20th for this exciting talk, followed by Q&A. Register today!
