Immortal lessons from the Ramayana in Conflict resolution & decision making

October 28 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm EDT

Hindus revere Ramayana, a great Hindu Itihaasa that tells an exciting, beautiful, adventurous and spiritual story of Sri Rama. This is a scripture that is read in every Hindu household, stories shared with children, arts and performances that re-instill the values of Ramayana in all people, and thoroughly enjoyed by Hindus and other faiths as a fantastic drama of life with man, animals, Devas, Asuras, Rakshasas that highlight the good and bad in every creature, and ultimate win of goodness over evil with collaboration as the real tie.

With October designated as Hindu Heritage Month in many parts of the United States, HPN is marking an auspicious beginning to it with a discussion of Ramayana as a source for many life Lessons. Srirama Chakradhar and his colleagues brought us Tavaasmi, a 4 volume book set, that is a dialogue between a young girl and her father. Srirama and team just launched Tapasvi, anothe Ramayana effort and currently has introduced Manasvi. The HPN event will focus on Ramayana as a source to learn about two very important and relevant topics on Decision Making and Conflict Resolution.
